Natural Mehndi

is usually made from the crushed leaves of the henna plant. it is also found in powdered form. It is then mixed with lemon juice/water, essential oils and sugar.

 

Coloured Mehndi

however is not made from the natural leaves of the henna plant. It is mainly made from a stainer or a dye which gives it the unusual yet enchanting colours.

Natural Mehndi is unlikely to harm your skin at all as it is an all natural product with no added chemicals.

 

Coloured Mehndi is not naturally made and not recommended to people with highly sensitive skin as it may cause burning and rashes. A test should be administered a few days before applying coloured mehndi to test your skins reaction to the mehndi.
