Mehndi is the art of painting the body in ornate designs with henna.
It is a beautiful and mysterious art form that has been used for centuries to heal, to adorn and to bless.
Mehndi has now become a fashion statement, it is used by people of all ethnic groups to beautify oneself without permanently marking your skin.
Originally made from crushed leaves from the henna tree(which leaves a dark red stain) mehndi has now been modified and is found in a variety of colours which stain just as well.

I am a professional mehndi/henna artist catering to the population in and around the Durban area. I specialize in Bridal Mehndi and am available for weddings, engagements, parties, Eid, Diwali, personal appointments, etc.
